As I mentioned on Twitter before, I have an iPhone 3G.
Im writing this post in panorama mode, first time I use it, since it only is good for writing.
So, the main question everyone asks, is the iPhone worth its money? Definatly not.
Why do I own one then? Because I’ve got it ways cheaper then it is normaly.
Also, an iPhone that isnt jailbreaked just has half of the abbilities.
The main thing that sells the iPhone, is the huge amount of apps, thats also the reason for fakes to be senseless.
Also, labels often are good quality, that maybe applies here to, but sure not at the accesoires. My headphone cable broke(!) after 1 week of normal usement.
I use my iPhone for browsing the web, but only to visit standard pages, you cant really lurk around random pages on the iPhone.
There are also awesome games, like Pocket God, which use every aviable bit of the iPhones technologies to entertain you. And man, its a 99c app!
Also the abbility to update all my podcasts in one tool and then listen to them is another cool fact.
I personaly do not have any son on my iPhone, but nearly every bit of space is taken.
Now I am too lazy to continue writing rhis, I hope I uncovered most facts, please take time to leave a comment and tell me what themes you would like to read about, what I should do better or whatever.
I wish I had an iPhone or at least an iPod touch.
But, as you said, they are not worth the money.
Ohh, bytheway is there a command line application for the iPhone?
Because I am preparing a LARP-character in a post-apocalyptic setting and having such a baby on my wrest and typing stuff in would be an awesome concept.

Is there something like a light-version?
There is Commandline App, but only if you have jailbroken it.
And it really isnt worth its money, only buy it if a friend sells it cheap or something…
And as long as it isnt jailbroken (cracked) it only has half of the abbilities

Would you have any other ideas about how to get a nice gadget?
A handheld with a unixoid system would be neat, but I dont think thats gonna happen, especially when u need it to boot into a command line environment.
But at least the rest of the character is getting into shape
